On the cover page, enter your name, period, school year, and teacher.
Rename your copied file in the following name format: LastName_FirstName_PeriodNumber_ENB
a. For example, I would name mine - Lockwood_Jonathan_P2_ENB
For each new entry in your Engineering Notebook, you should be updating your Table of Contents with the Entry #, Date, and Title of each entry.
Your entry number should start at 1, and each additional entry number will be the previous number + 1.
The date field should be completed with the date the entry was added. Do not use the due date of the assignment.
The title in the table of contents should match the title on the entry exactly.
The title in the table of contents should also be linked directly to the slide associated with it for quick navigation.
The link the title in the table of contents to a specific slide in your presentation, use your mouse to highlight the title.
Right click the highlighted text and select "link"
Select the "Slides in this Presentation" option at the bottom of the popup that you get after right clicking. Choose the slide that matches with the table of contents entry.
There are a varienty of templates available to use for your work, to apply one of these pre-made templates to a new slide:
Click Slide in the top navigation bar
The click Apply Layout, choose the slide template that best fits your needs. Examples of each can be seen below.
