FabLab Inventory & Tool Checkout System
The FabLab uses a digital inventory and checkout system to help track tools, materials, and supplies used in projects. This system ensures equipment stays organized and materials remain available for everyone.
All students are responsible for properly logging any materials they use and any tools they check out.
Using Materials (Inventory System)
Materials such as filament, hardware, electronics components, and laser materials are tracked through the inventory system.
Before starting your project, you should verify that the materials you need are available.
When to log inventory usage
You must log inventory when you:
take filament
use laser materials
use hardware from bins (screws, nuts, etc.)
take electronics components
use adhesives or specialty materials
remove any consumable supplies from storage
